Additionally, I love to share healthy recipes that I have developed. My goal is to inspire others, provide valuable content and wellness services, and create a positive impact on the lives of my audience. Join me on this journey towards balance and bliss.

About Me
My name is Melisa Onc, and I'm so glad you're here!
As a dedicated Nutrition student at Rutgers University, I'm diving deep into the intricate relationship between food, the body, and overall health. My studies here encompasses the biochemical, physiologic, molecular, psychological, and cultural aspects of food choice and nutrient metabolism.
In addition to my nutrition studies, I have a B.B.A. in International Business. I have always been passionate about traveling and experiencing all the beauty the world has to offer -- including food!
After I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Gastroparesis, experiencing first-hand how difficult and isolating life can become, I set on a path to learn more about how nutrition is connected to achieving optimal health. I was inspired by several dietitians that helped me overcome my difficulties and manage my symptoms to return back to my life.
I am currently enrolled and working towards becoming a certified Yoga Instructor, while finishing up my B.S. in Nutrition at Rutgers University. My interests lie in functional nutrition, women's wellness, and the gut-brain connection, with a long-term goal of contributing to innovative, evidence-based practices that support whole-person health. I look forward to incorporating healthy eating and working out in a balanced and sustainable way, and teaching others to do so as well.
My goal is to help others return back to their lives stronger and healthier -- making the most out of what life has to offer 💕
