Simple Pie Crust

About the Recipe

This pie crust comes together easily and requires little to no effort. The best part is that it's gluten—and dairy-free and has minimal ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups of Almond Flour

  • 3/4 Cup Gluten-Free Flour

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 4 Tbsp water

  • For a sweet pie, add 1 Tbsp of coconut sugar before putting it in the mixer

  • For a savory pie, you can either keep it the same as the original or add some seasonings of your choice. Just omit the sugar.

Preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and use a standby mixer to mix the ingredients together until a dough consistency forms. Make sure not to over-mix!

  2. Dust some gluten-free flour onto a clean surface, and put the mixed dough on top. Knead it until a uniform ball forms, and isn't sticking anymore.

  3. You now have the dough for your pie crust.

  4. You can also cut the ball into 2 equal parts, have enough dough for 2 galettes! The possibilities are endless ☺️
